The UGLY DOG Experience

Located in Goodrich, our 13,000-square foot facility was built from the ground up to provide a unique experience for all breeds. Our team of training specialists and care providers pay close attention to each need so you as a pet owner can have piece of mind. Whether it's just for a few hours of daycare or a whole vacation of overnight boarding, each dog will have his or her own suite for rest and over 15 different play areas to socialize! Our Acceptance

We’re happy to accept dogs that have not been spayed or neutered! Just make sure they’ve had their vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and Bordetella.

What is an "Ugly Dog?"

When most people think of an “ugly dog,” they probably don’t have breeds like German wirehaired pointers, Pudelpointers, wirehaired pointing griffons, and other bearded hunting dogs in mind. They aren’t likely to win an “ugliest dog” content anytime soon. But the term “ugly dog” is actually an affectionate nickname for these hunting dogs—and our own name, Ugly Dog Daycare & Training, is a tribute to the breeds our family has spent decades training for hunting, competitions, and more.
