Our Story
As you can see, there is nothing Ugly about this state-of-the-art facility. This poses the question that everyone has been asking, why the name? The term “Ugly Dog” derives from your bearded hunting breeds such as German Wirehaired Pointers, Spinone Italianos, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffons, etc. Essentially, these breeds built our business. If you don’t like the name, just remember it made you stop and think!

Dog Daycare
Whether you have to leave your dog with us for half a day or need a more long-term daycare solution, Ugly Dog has you covered at our state-of-the-art facility.
Dog Boarding
For your dog, an extended stay at our facility is almost like booking him or her a vacation with friends. Just provide us with a container full of your dog’s food, and we’ll handle the rest.
Dog Training Classes
We’ve developed a series of robust training programs covering everything from general obedience to specialties, including therapy, deer tracking, waterfowl, and more.
Dog Grooming
“Ugly Dog” may be in our name, but your dog certainly won’t look “ugly” after a grooming appointment at our facility.
