First-Class Dog Boarding at Our Goodrich, MI, Facility
Spending time away from your dogs can be hard, but knowing they’re in good hands can make it much easier for you. At Ugly Dog Daycare & Training, that’s exactly what we aim to do. Our 13,000-square-foot dog boarding and training facility in Goodrich, Michigan, is designed to keep your pets happy and engaged for the entire time they’re here with us. We look after dogs from all over Genesee and Oakland counties and will be happy to give your dog the best possible boarding experience!

Creature Comforts
Our facility features 176 suites with cots and blankets, all of which are designed to prevent cross-contamination using features like antimicrobial paint, individual drainage systems and HEPA air exchange units that filtrate the air every 15 minutes to aid in pet health.

Our 20-acre, 13,000-square-foot facility features 15 acres of fenced-in play area, rubber flooring for traction and durability, modular walls, outdoor play areas with Astroturf, and more than enough toys on site for the dogs in our care to play with.
Activities
Activities Aplenty
Your dogs will be in their suites only to eat and sleep. For the rest of each day, they’ll be playing or participating in fun activities developed by our staff. What’s more, we’re happy to offer training services for all dogs boarding with us!

We have every dog undergo a temperament test before coming in so that we can keep all of our boarders separated according to their temperaments. And because we accept dogs that are not spayed or neutered, we will also separate those dogs accordingly.

Our Acceptance
We’re happy to accept dogs that have not been spayed or neutered! Just make sure they’ve had their vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and Bordetella.

Booking Boarding for Your Dogs
Before contacting Ugly Dog about our dog boarding service, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- If you’re bringing us three or more dogs at once, we offer a 10% discount. If you wish for them all to stay together, we do have suites available for that.
- Pick-up and drop-off times are available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- While we keep dog food on site, we prefer you to bring the food you’d normally give your dogs to avoid potential digestive issues. There is an upcharge if you wish us to serve our in-house food rather than your own.
- If you bring your own dog food from home, Michigan state law requires that you store it in a container—not in a bag.
- We accommodate dogs that have not been spayed or neutered.
- We require all dogs boarding with us to have been vaccinated for rabies, distemper, and Bordetella.
